Bahri, a global leader in transportation and logistics, was awarded at the GCC GOV HR Awards 2020 with the ‘GCC GOV HR Team of the Year’ award for promoting best practices in people management. The award is considered the region’s most coveted human resource recognition.

In accordance with the 8th Annual GOV HR Summit, the event was held at InterContinental Dubai, where prominent dignitaries and leaders from leading government and business organizations from across the GCC and top regional media were present.

In another significant development, Bahri was highly appreciated at the CIPD Middle East People Awards in the ‘Employer of Choice’ category in accordance with its dedication to developing a culture of learning and continuous improvement of domestic and international talent with consistent gender equity initiatives.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) organized the awards with an aim to pat individuals, teams, and organizations for their idea of promoting positive work cultures and best practices.

The HR team at Bahri has launched numerous initiatives over the past year to promote continuous growth and development and the prolonged happiness and welfare of its employees.

The HR at Bahir has come up with an e-Learning initiative in collaboration with LinkedIn to stay up with the current changes. It intended to help employees access training courses remotely as per their needs. It also hosted internal events and gatherings to create a positive working environment and make it a happy workplace.

To help workers enhance their skills and competencies, Bahri provided world-class in-house and external training and professional development programs and rewarded their success and achievements.
