T2 Systems, a parking technology player, has joined hands with TEZ, a mobile payment provider, and developers of TEXT2PARK to introduce T2 MobilePay.

T2 MobilePay is a mobile parking payment solution that offers a simple and easy mode to pay for parking using smartphones while allowing operators to own their data and make money. MobilePay does not come with a pre-requisite of downloading any app.

All users need to text an SMS code or scan a QR code to get to the online payment portal via a web browser. Later, information related to license plates and payment information is saved automatically for future visits without the hassle of creating an account.

With respect to parking operators, MobilePay combines T2’s robust Iris parking management software and industry-leading T2 Luke Pay Stations with TEXT2PARK’s revolutionary mobile payment feature to be able to make a note of all transaction data in a single system while offering consistent enforcement and reporting. T2 and TEXT2PARK allow operators full control over the ownership of parking activity plus customer data.
