Transaction Network Services (TNS) is a frontrunner in fintech payment services. Further, it will help embrace digital transformation, cloud adoption, and increase technology budgets.

TNS Secure SD-WAN

The TNS Secure SD-WAN end-to-end (E2E) managed and fully integrated solution could streamline a retailer’s operations by centrally managing the network and addressing the complexity for merchants.

Retailers get several benefits from TNS, including secure connection to

  • Online e-commerce gateways
  • Automatic Teller Machines
  • Point-of-sale (POS) terminals
  • Cash registers
  • Back office computing
  • Forecourt tank gauges
  • Number plate recognition technology
  • Guest consumer Wi-Fi

Michael Johnson, Vice President APAC Operations at Transaction Network Services, commented: “SD-WAN is already widely available to businesses, but TNS brings PCI DSS compliant security credentials and global payments experience as a managed service.” Further, he added, “Our SD-WAN solution enables merchants to prioritize their data usage centrally to secure their payments and business-critical systems.”

TNS commented: “as store environments become more complex and expensive, working with a managed service provider like TNS simplifies the modernization of payment acceptance, further helping our clients realize better total cost of ownership.”

TNS SD-WAN solution uses Fortinet’s hardware, a leader in automated, broad, and integrated cybersecurity solutions and a chosen leader in the “2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for WAN Edge Infrastructure.”

To avert data breaches, TNS Secure SD-WAN comprises next-generation stateful firewalls such as IP SEC VPN tunnels, URL filtering, anti-virus features, and SSL packet inspection to enhance safety across retail estates.

Johnson commented: “Our partnership with Fortinet focuses on the unique requirements of merchants needing to manage retail systems, protect sensitive card data, and complete digital transformation sooner rather than later.”

Further, Johnson concluded: “If coronavirus has taught us anything, it is that omnichannel is more paramount than ever. It is a lifeline that enables delivery, curbside, and onsite, but it adds complexity and increased risk to payment transaction processing.”

For TNS, 2020 is a breakthrough year for the company as it commemorates 30 years of being a global provider to firms in mission-critical industries.

Several respected financial institutions, POS ISOs, ATM deployers, and transaction processors depend on TNS for resilient and secure infrastructure services, including managed connectivity.

TNS’ fast IT networking services are backed 24x7x365 from Network Operating Center (NOC) in the US, UK, and Australia.

The company offers managed networking services in more than 60 countries spanning the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Europe.
