Chillisoft, a cybersecurity distributor specialist, has struck a deal with CyberArk, an information security vendor, to distribute its products across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

The Auckland-based distributor Chillisoft aims to help the Israel-founded privileged account management vendor CyberArk concentrate more on its aim to double its growth over the coming years in the local market.

“CyberArk has already had great success in NZ with premier foundation customers, however, CyberArk is looking to double its growth in this market in 2021 by working with Chillisoft to selectively expand our partner base,” said Bruce Nixon, CyberArk A/NZ Channel Director.

“By signing Chillisoft, we are able to ensure that we have virtual feet on the street to drive through channel enablement and opportunity generating activities on a regular basis. Chillisoft’s razor-like focus on cybersecurity gives us the confidence that our distributor can be a true extension of our A/NZ team,” he added.

According to Alex Teh, Chillisoft CEO, adding CyberArk to its complementary portfolio will allow the company to provide best-in-class cybersecurity solutions with sales and technical support in New Zealand.

“Partners and customers that are looking for best-in-class security solutions can come to Chillisoft with the knowledge that they will get enterprise-class sales/technical support and services homegrown in NZ,” Teh said.

“CyberArk has been the market leader in the privilege and access management (PAM) space for a long time, and with the acquisition of Idaptive for single sign-on (SSO) and adaptive multi-factor authentication (MFA), CyberArk can now uniquely provide an end-to-end solution for the entire identity and access management (IAM) stack,” he added.

Recently, the Forrester Wave’s Privileged Identity Management Q4 2020 report credited CyberArk as a leader.

According to the report, CyberArk solutions holds strong credentials and secret vault management across various systems with many out-of-the-box integrations accessible via the CyberArk Marketplace.

“In a year filled with challenges and uncertainty for businesses around the globe, we are proud of the work we’ve done to help our customers and partners reduce risk, simplify operations, and be able to confidently move forward with the next phase of business transformation,” says CyberArk CMO. He also states that the company is continuously evolving its approach to help organizations identify, manage, and protect their privileges.
