KnowBe4 Inc., a provider of security awareness training, recently launched a new service application intended to empower users by providing compliance training and security awareness – while they are on the go.

The users will not incur any additional costs while using the new KnowBe4 Mobile Learner App to imbibe security awareness and compliance education from their mobile devices. The new app gives end users continual access and helps them finish their security awareness and compliance training on their tablets or cell phones.

Although most people today own smartphones, KnowBe4 contends that traditional training approaches frequently lag in incorporating training apps.

By enabling users to complete their security awareness and compliance training via mobile devices, businesses can boost user engagement and fortify their security culture.

By extending the security of the broadest attack surface and including staff members who might not have access to a desktop or laptop device, this app was created with both the users and the administrators in mind.

For businesses, the app keeps the company staff on schedule to fulfill their learning obligations by providing quick access to training.

The app gives users mobile access to a company’s compliance training and security awareness library. It encourages them to associate security with their personal devices so that they are constantly aware of security rather than only while working on their desktops at offices.

The Chief Executive Officer of KnowBe4, Stu Sjouwerman, said in a statement, “The KnowBe4 Mobile Learner App is the first of its kind to launch in the security awareness and compliance training space, making it easier than ever to train users while subsequently strengthening an organization’s security culture.” He added, “This new app will enable IT and security teams to improve engagement and completion rates for required training thanks to a seamless user experience.”

This new app comes after KnowBe4 launched the “SecurityCoach,” a programme meant to offer real-time security coaching to lessen risky behavior, on November 7! Tens of thousands of observed events are identified, corroborated, and handled by human detection and response, or HDR, provided by this service.

When it was revealed that KnowBe4 would be acquired by the private equity company Visa Equity Partners for USD 4.6 billion, the information also made headlines in October.
