Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning, Google is about to launch a chatbot that will be available 24/7 to answer and solve all types of queries for different organizations amid the ongoing pandemic. It will also include customized templates that any industry can use according to their needs.

As reported in a Google blog, the chatbot, also called the Rapid Response Virtual Agent program, is Google’s solution to help answer every organization across voice, chat, and social channels in 23 languages amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Google is of the view that implementing such plans will ease the load on customer support resources and enhance Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

For those companies that have already implemented similar activities, they have a facility to add COVID-19 content to virtual agents with the ability to integrate open-source templates.

Interested parties that wish to launch a virtual agent can access documentation on things like how to integrate Dialogflow Messenger. The Dialogflow messenger provides a customizable chat dialog for a virtual agent that can be embedded into websites.

For the faster implementation of the services, Google is continuously working with contact center partners.

Antony Passemard, Google Cloud Head of Product for Conversational AI, says, “The work we’re doing today is part of our focus on helping businesses and organizations most impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“As Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian explained in recent blog posts, our goal is to help people stay safe, informed, and connected during these extraordinary times,” he further added.
