In September, 451 Research conducted a study to examine the priorities, concerns and strategies of midsized enterprises regarding IT infrastructure and data storage. The study was based on a moderated online discussion board, in which IT chiefs exchanged views on a wide range of topics including the relationships between IT and the larger organization, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the best ways to achieve IT efficiency and agility. The participants were from USbased companies spanning multiple industries with 500-2,000 full-time employees, and data storage capacities ranging from terabytes to multiple petabytes.
