Informatica Corp. is introducing four new product features for Snowflake Inc.’s Data Cloud platform, all of which seek to simplify and accelerate the data integration replication process and are available inside the Snowflake ecosystem.

Informatica Superpipe for Snowflake is expected to accelerate ingestion and replication into Snowflake by up to 3.5 times. It’s the result of two firms working together to determine how to best use the combination of Snowflake’s Snowpipe Streaming data ingestion capability and Informatica’s cloud data integration capabilities. A public preview is currently accessible, with general availability scheduled for the second part of the year.

Enterprise Data Integrator is a Snowflake-native application that provides clients direct access to the Intelligent Data Management Cloud from the Snowflake platform and marketplace. Users can integrate data in both directions between the Snowflake Data Cloud and applications from Oracle Corp., Google LLC, SAP SE, Microsoft Corp., and Salesforce Inc. In the second half of 2023, a public preview of the software will be offered and available by the end of the year.

Cloud Data Integration-Free is a no-cost, no-code, and no-configuration data loading and integration tool that Snowflake users can use for data loading and integration. For data pipelines and integration, the free version provides up to 20 million rows or 10 monthly processing hours.

Using no-code data pipelines, Informatica Cloud Data Integration’s support for Apache Iceberg on Snowflake enables the loading, preparation, and storage of data sets in native and external Iceberg tables on Snowflake. It is currently available for public preview and is expected to be released in the second half of the year.
