Jamf, Apple Enterprise Management expert, publicized the merger of its software and BeyondCorp Enterprise, Google Cloud’s zero-trust access solution. This will bring macOS compliance to Apple administrators using Jamf and Google Cloud.

The collaboration will allow administrators to enhance security when users are working outside the firm’s internal network perimeter by ensuring that only reliable users from managed computers can access Google Workspace and other resources protected by BeyondCorp Enterprise. This partnership will play a significant role for organizations with Apple devices and Google cloud infrastructure.

Being a member of the BeyondCorp Alliance, Jamf gives an additional advantage to firms that adopt employee choice programs and use enterprise security solutions without any trade-off with the user experience. This partnership combines the ecosystem management strengths of both companies and is, thus, a boon for organizations with Apple devices and Google Cloud infrastructure.

With remote work becoming the norm now, it’s essential for admins to both protect users and ensure they can access corporate resources from wherever they choose to work. Jamf empowers the admins with the power to monitor the security status of company devices, thus ensuring that device and corporate information is protected.

Additionally, Jamf integrates with Google Identity, offering IT admins a constructive way to generate Mac accounts with a Google username and password. Jamf publicized that with the user’s cloud password kept in sync with the Mac password, they can access the required resources with one set of credentials.
